I've always tried to eat right, exercise, and take care of my well-being but I haven't always been healthy. For many years I suffered physically. I had abdominal pain, bloating, headaches, brain fog, fatigue, and gastrointestinal bleeding. I sought the expertise of multiple doctors to be told over and over again that nothing was wrong with me. I knew this was not true so I took matters into my own hands and started researching and experimenting on my own. By making dietary changes I was able to restore my gut health and feel good again.
Two years later, although I was feeling physically better, something was off. I felt lost, like I didn't know who I was anymore, stuck, disconnected, exhausted/drained, like life was passing by. I was suffering from burnout and I was sick of my lack of motivation and negativity. As a result, I hired a holistic health coach and by taking small steps I was able to transform every aspect of my life. I was inspired and wanted to help others make the same transformation I did.
My commitment to empowering others to stop betraying theirselves, create the life they want, and be their happiest and healthiest led me to IIN, a program deeply rooted in my mission. At IIN, I had the opportunity to learn from 90+ of the world's leading experts in health and wellness. I studied hundreds of dietary theories and holistic lifestyle coaching methods. I trained in behavior change theories, motivational strategies, and health education and promotion theories. IIN taught me that you must treat the whole person, physically, mentally, and emotionally and that everyone's journey is unique, there is no one size fits all technique.
I believe that everyone deserves to live a healthy and fulfilling life. We are nourished by so much more than just the food that we eat. Our relationships, careers, social lives, and moments of joy are just a few of the things that feed us or deplete us daily. Finding balance in all areas is essential to our well-being.
